Clean Marinecleanmarine rgb

Clean Marine of Norway is dedicated to emission cleaning only and offers a proven, unique Exhaust Gas Cleaning System (EGCS) designed for the maritime industry.

It is the only system currently on the market with true multi-stream exhaust gas handling; all exhaust sources onboard - including boilers - are served by one common EGC unit without encountering an increase in backpressure. The system is cost-efficent and easy to operate.

Clean Marine offers a proven, hybrid system that can operate in both open- and closed loop mode in all types of water without loss of efficiency and surpassing the pH limit for washwater discharges.

A Clean Marine EGCS is operational and fully certified on the bulk carrier MV Balder, which was recenty the first vessel in the world to operate this type of system in the U.S. ECA.

Clean Marine will also supply EGCS for two shuttle tanker newbuildings built at Samsung Heavy Industries for AET. These systems will clean emissions from two main engines, five auxiliary engines and three boilers; one single unit will manage 10 exhaust sources.

Clean Marine offers ship owners and yards the equipment and support needed to install an EGCS on both newbuildings and existing ships.
